Okay, so, I saw this “JoJo Siwa ball outfit” thing trending, and, like, I had to try it. I mean, JoJo’s style is so… extra, and I wanted to see if I could even remotely pull it off. Spoiler alert: It was a journey.
Finding the “Right” Stuff
First, I hit up my closet. Obviously, I don’t own anything quite like what JoJo wears, so I was going for the vibe, you know? Bright colors, sparkles, maybe some oversized accessories. I dug out this old, neon pink tutu I wore for a Halloween party like, five years ago. Yeah, it was a little snug, but hey, that’s part of the charm, right?
Then came the top. I found a sparkly tank top that I think I bought for a New Year’s Eve party once. It had these iridescent sequins that changed color in the light. Perfect! I also grabbed a bright blue, oversized hair bow. It was a total impulse buy from a craft store, and I’d never worn it, but it felt very JoJo.
Putting It All Together (and Feeling a Little Ridiculous)
So, I put on the tutu. It’s a skirt.
Next, the sparkly tank top. It was definitely… a lot. Like, a LOT of sparkle.
- Put on the cloth.
- Check myself in the mirror.
- Feel the regret.
Finally, I clipped on the giant bow. My head felt oddly heavy. I looked in the mirror and just started laughing. I felt like a walking, talking disco ball, but in, like, a fun, slightly insane way.
The Big Reveal (aka My Living Room Fashion Show)
I decided to “perform” for my dog, he’s a good boy, and the best audience. He just tilted his head and wagged his tail, which I took as a positive review. I did a few twirls, attempted a (very clumsy) cartwheel, and even tried to strike a JoJo-esque pose. It was… something.
Honestly, the whole experience was hilarious. I definitely don’t have JoJo’s energy or dance skills, but it was fun to step outside my comfort zone and embrace something totally over-the-top. Would I wear this outfit in public? Probably not. But, I have a newfound appreciation for JoJo’s commitment to her style. She’s definitely rocking it, even if it’s not quite my thing. And hey, I got a good laugh, and my dog seemed entertained, so I’d call it a win!
