Then the killer find: People Magazine’s September 24 article quoting “a source” saying “they started talking after Travis publicly mentioned the bracelet attempt” which matched the podcast timeline.
Spent another hour checking gossip sites’ archives. All “first meeting” stories before September referenced that dang podcast episode. Case closed.
Why This Matters To Me
Reminds me of my own meet-cute disaster at a concert last year. Tried handing a girl my number scribbled on a napkin, spilled beer all over it. Difference is nobody reported on my embarrassment TMZ-style. These two turned awkwardness into a damn fairytale though – mad respect.
