Alright, so let’s talk about this Hedonism thing. I’d heard whispers about it for years, this kinda mythical party place down in Jamaica. So, naturally, when a buddy suggested a group trip, I jumped at the chance. We’re talking about Hedonism II in Negril, by the way. They shut down Hedonism III a while back, and I guess there was never a first one. Weird, right?

First off, booked the flights and the stay. This place, it’s called “Hedo” for short, and it’s all-inclusive. Think endless food, drinks, and a whole bunch of activities. Tennis, pickleball, whatever floats your boat. We landed at the airport, grabbed a shuttle, and rolled up to this place right on Norman Manley Blvd.
Stepped inside, checked in, and boom – the vibe hits you. It’s lively, let’s just say that. Music’s pumping, people are smiling, and there’s this energy in the air. Our group scattered to explore. Some hit the pool, some checked out the bars, and a few of us went straight for the beach.
The days were a blur of activity. We played volleyball, tried windsurfing, and even took a dance class. The food was surprisingly decent for an all-inclusive. Plenty of variety, lots of fresh stuff. And the drinks? Let’s just say they weren’t shy with the rum.
Now, the nights, that’s where things get interesting. Themed parties every night, people going all out with costumes. Music’s blasting, people are dancing, and yeah, there’s a lot of skin. It’s definitely a “sexually energized environment,” as some folks like to call it. But honestly, it’s more about freedom and letting loose than anything else. People were friendly, no pressure, just a bunch of adults having a good time.
- Food: Pretty good for an all-inclusive.
- Drinks: Strong and plentiful.
- Activities: Tons to do, or not do.
- Atmosphere: Lively, free, and definitely a bit wild.
We spent a week there, and it flew by. Met some cool people, had some crazy nights, and just generally soaked up the whole experience. There was this one time when… nah, maybe I’ll save that story for another time.

What I really got from this trip:
Look, Hedonism isn’t for everyone. It’s loud, it’s wild, and it’s definitely not your typical vacation. But if you’re looking to cut loose, meet some open-minded people, and just have a damn good time, it’s worth checking out. Would I go back? Hell yeah, already planning the next trip with the crew. Just remember to pack your sense of adventure, and maybe leave your inhibitions at home. And seriously, there are so many fun activities there, so if you’re planning to go, make the most of your Hedo vacation!
