Okay, so, I wanted to get my nails done for fall, you know? I started looking online for some ideas because, well, I wanted something different this time. I scrolled through tons of pictures. Lots of dark colors, which makes sense, it’s fall, but there were also some cool designs with leaves and stuff.
I saw a few colors that I really liked. There was this deep red, almost like wine, that looked super classy. They called it “burgundy,” I think. Then there was this olive green, which felt kinda modern and different. And a mustard yellow, which was bright and fun. Oh, and also cinnamon, which is kind of like a burnt orange. I couldn’t choose, I wanted them all!
I decided to go with the burgundy because it felt the most “fall” to me. I went to the nail salon, and showed the nail tech the picture I had saved on my phone. She did a great job. She filed and shaped my nails, pushed back my cuticles, all that stuff. It’s not just painting your nails, you know?
She painted them that perfect dark red, and it looked so good! So elegant and nice. But then I was like, maybe I want to try something else next time, I don’t know! Because fall is long, I can get a couple more. I might go for the olive green, or maybe the cinnamon with a matte topcoat. Matte is like, not shiny, right? It looks cool.
Here’s what I ended up with:
- Shape: I kept them short and rounded because that’s what I always do. It’s just easier.
- Color: Deep burgundy. It’s like a dark, vampy red. Super pretty.
- Finish: Shiny! I love a glossy topcoat. It just makes them look so polished.
I’m really happy with how they turned out. Now I just need a pumpkin spice latte, and I’m all set for fall!
