Okay, so today I decided to dive into recreating some iconic fashion looks. It sounded fun and a little challenging, so I figured, why not?

Getting Started

First, I spent some time browsing online. I looked at old magazines, Pinterest boards, and some fashion blogs. My goal was to find a few looks that I felt I could actually recreate with stuff I already had or could easily get.

I ended up choosing three looks:

  • Audrey Hepburn’s classic black dress from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”
  • A 90s grunge look inspired by bands.
  • A 70s-style outfit.

The Process

The Audrey Hepburn look was surprisingly easy. I already owned a simple black dress, so I just needed to find some long black gloves and a statement necklace. I borrowed the gloves and a fitting necklace, and with my hair up, it actually looked pretty good!

For the 90s grunge look, I dug out an old oversized flannel shirt, ripped jeans, and some boots. The key here was layering. I threw on a band t-shirt underneath the flannel and left it unbuttoned. Messy hair and some dark eyeliner completed the vibe.

The 70s outfit was the most challenging. I didn’t have any bell-bottom jeans. So I did the thing of watching some online tutorials and finally, I have the jeans!

The Results

Overall, I’m pretty happy with how everything turned out! It was a fun way to experiment with different styles and get creative with my wardrobe. Plus, it gave me some new ideas for outfits I can wear in real life. I took some photos to document the process, and even though I’m no model, I think they captured the essence of each look.

It’s cool how you can take inspiration from different eras and make them your own. I definitely recommend trying this out if you’re looking for a fun fashion project!
