Okay, so I’ve been totally obsessed with Grimes’ style lately. It’s just so… out there, you know? I decided to try and, like, get it, so I spent a whole day messing around with her looks. Here’s how it went down:

Phase 1: The Deep Dive
First, I scrolled through tons of pictures of her. I mean, tons. Google Images, Pinterest, Instagram – you name it, I was there. I noticed a few things right away:
- Lots of layers. Like, she’s not afraid to pile stuff on.
- Crazy colors. Neons, pastels, all mixed together.
- A weird mix of futuristic and, like, medieval stuff? It’s hard to explain.
- Platforms. Always platforms.
Phase 2: The Closet Raid
Next, I raided my own closet. This was… interesting. I don’t exactly have a wardrobe full of elf ears and cyber-punk gear, haha. But I found some stuff that kinda worked:
- A bright pink oversized hoodie. Score!
- Some ripped black leggings. Definitely Grimes-y.
- My old combat boots. Not quite platforms, but close enough.
- A weird, flowy scarf thing that I never wear. Could be useful?
Phase 3: The Experiment
Then came the fun part – actually trying to put an outfit together. I started with the basics: leggings and the hoodie. Already feeling a little bolder than usual. Then I added the combat boots. Okay, getting somewhere. I wrapped the scarf around my head, kind of like a weird turban. Hmm… I dug out some chunky silver rings and put them on every finger. And finally, I found some old, colorful hair clips and stuck them in randomly.
Phase 4: The Verdict
I looked in the mirror. Did I look exactly like Grimes? Nope. Did I feel like a slightly more adventurous version of myself? Absolutely! It was actually really fun to step outside my comfort zone and try something totally different. I even wore the outfit to the grocery store (and got some very strange looks, haha).

So, yeah, that was my day of channeling Grimes. It was messy, a little bit weird, and totally worth it. I might not be rocking elf ears anytime soon, but I definitely learned to embrace the unexpected when it comes to fashion.
