Nowadays, these young girls, they don’t wear bras anymore. They call it braless fashion. What is this world coming to? Back in my day, we always wore bras. It’s just what you did. But these girls, they just let it all hang out! I saw it on TV, all these fancy people not wearing them.
They say it’s comfortable. Well, maybe. My old bra, it pinches sometimes. But still, a woman needs support. Don’t they know that? I guess not. They are all about this braless fashion, these young ones. They are all wearing those see-through tops, and there’s nothing underneath. Imagine that! I tell you, it’s a sight.
And working from home, they say. Well, what’s wrong with wearing a bra at home? I always wear mine. Even when I’m just cleaning the house, I wear it. It’s just proper. But these girls, they don’t care about proper. They just want to be comfortable. I guess comfort is all that matters these days. I still think it is strange, this braless fashion trend.
Some big shot names, Anne and Hailey, they don’t wear bras on the red carpet. They are all fancy and rich, so I guess they can do what they want. And all those designers, making clothes with no bras in mind, showing them off like it’s the most normal thing. Lako, Jeanne, Juana, Alix, Tony, Alexis, all of them! They make these clothes that show everything. I saw the pictures. It is for this braless fashion, they say. They put it all out there!
I saw some of these outfits, they call them “braless outfit ideas”. They say they are “supportive and comfortable”. How can that be? No bra is supportive. That’s just what a bra does, it supports. I don’t believe it. They talk about this braless fashion thing as if it is healthy, or makes people feel good about themselves.
- Bralettes, they call them. Still a bra, I say.
- Halter Tops. What’s that?
- Strapless Bra. That doesn’t even make sense.
They say it’s about being comfortable with your body. Well, I’m comfortable with my body. I just wear a bra, that’s all. It’s not that big of a deal. They make it seem like wearing a bra is some big, terrible thing. It’s not. It’s just a bra. This braless fashion thing is confusing.
They say bras are uncomfortable. Maybe they’re just wearing the wrong size. You gotta get the right size, that’s important. I always get the right size. Makes all the difference. Maybe that’s their problem. They just don’t know how to buy a bra. It is all part of this braless fashion, I suppose.
And these outfits, they say they look better without a bra. I don’t know about that. Some of those dresses, they look like they need a bra. They just look…empty. Like something’s missing. But what do I know? I’m just an old lady. I don’t know anything about braless fashion. These young girls with their fancy clothes, though, they look strange to me.
They say you can wear a tank top underneath. Or a t-shirt on top. Or a blazer. Well, then what’s the point of not wearing a bra if you’re just gonna cover it all up anyway? Doesn’t make sense. And a bustier? Isn’t that just a fancy bra? I’m confused. I guess that is just another part of this strange braless fashion.
This whole braless fashion thing, it’s just a lot of fuss about nothing, if you ask me. Just wear a bra. It’s not that hard. But these young people, they like to make things complicated. They like to be different. I guess that’s just the way it is now. I just hope they don’t regret it later. Gravity, you know. It gets us all in the end. Maybe then they’ll wish they wore a bra, with all this braless fashion going around.
They say it’s liberating, going without a bra. Like it’s some kind of freedom. Freedom from what? A little bit of elastic? I don’t get it. It’s just a bra. It is part of being a woman. I guess they see it differently now. This braless fashion is just not for me.
I just don’t understand this braless fashion. Maybe I’m too old. Maybe I just don’t get it. But I’ll tell you what, I’ll keep wearing my bra. It’s comfortable enough for me. And it’s just what you do. You wear a bra. It’s that simple. These young folks and their trends, they always have to do something different, don’t they? No one cares about being proper anymore, I guess. Well, I still think it is important. And for me, that means wearing a bra.
