Okay, so I saw this “paleseafoam nude” color trend going around, and I was like, “What the heck is that?” I’m no artist, but it sounded kinda fancy, and I wanted to try painting something with it. Just for fun, you know?

My Little Experiment
First, I googled it. Seriously, I had no clue. Turns out, it’s like, a super light, greenish-blue. Think of the ocean, but, like, way more subtle. Some pictures showed it almost white, others a bit more green. It was all over the place!
So, I grabbed my cheap acrylic paints. I don’t have anything fancy, just the basic colors you get in a kid’s set. I figured I’d try to mix it myself.
- I started with a big blob of white. Gotta make it pale, right?
- Then, I added the tiniest drop of blue. Like, seriously tiny. I used a toothpick!
- Next, I added even less green. Again with the toothpick. It’s surprisingly easy to overdo it.
I mixed it all up on a paper plate. It looked… okay. A little too blue, maybe? So I added more white, and then a touch more green. I kept messing with it until it looked kinda like the pictures I saw online. It was way lighter than I expected, almost like a dirty white with a hint of, well, the sea.
Then I needed something to paint. I’m no good at drawing, so I just grabbed a small canvas board and started slapping the paint on. No plan, no fancy brushes, just a plain, flat brush and my kinda-sorta paleseafoam nude.
I ended up with, like, a really abstract, almost cloudy-looking thing. It’s not gonna win any awards, but it was fun! It actually looks pretty calming, in a weird way. It looks kind of cool on my desk.

My verdict on the paleseafoam nude? I get it!I’m actually liking the effect. It’s definitely a chill color.
