So I logged into Fortnite the other day, like I usually do, maybe planning to knock out some quests or just mess around in Creative for a bit. Then I see this splash screen pop up, talking about Polo Ralph Lauren stuff being in the game. My first thought was, really? Like, the clothing brand? Seemed kinda wild, putting preppy clothes into a game where you’re running around building forts and shooting people.
Naturally, I got curious. Had to see what this was actually about. So, I navigated over to the Item Shop. Took me a second to find the section, scrolled past the usual superhero skins and goofy characters. And there it was.
Checking Out the Gear
They had a couple of main outfits. Looked like characters decked out in Polo gear, you know, with the little horse logo and everything. It wasn’t like super formal, more sporty, which I guess fits Fortnite a bit better.

They had a glider that looked like… well, it fit the theme.

And a pickaxe, think it was meant to look like one of those polo mallet things. Kinda clever, I guess.

Some weapon wraps too, to make your guns match.
Honestly, the designs looked pretty clean. Way different from the usual tactical or fantasy stuff you see everywhere in the game. Crisp colors, recognizable logo. It stood out.
Making the Call and Trying It In-Game
So then came the usual moment – looking at the V-Bucks price. Yeah, it wasn’t exactly cheap, typical for these crossover things. I thought about it for a bit. Do I really need a virtual Polo shirt? Probably not. But hey, it looked kinda unique, and I had some V-Bucks saved up from the battle pass and stuff.
In the end, I decided to just go for it. Picked up one of the main skins, the male one, I think they called it the ‘Stadium Hero 92’ or something like that. Felt like a bit of a splurge, but whatever, it’s just game cosmetics, right?
Jumped straight into a Battle Royale match after equipping it. Felt kinda funny at first, running around Tilted Towers looking like I just stepped out of a department store while chaos erupted around me. But the skin itself? Looked pretty good in action. The model was clean, the clothes moved alright, didn’t feel clunky or anything. It was just… different. Seeing that little Polo logo on my character’s chest while I was cranking 90s was definitely a weird mix.
Played a few matches with it. Got a couple of elims. Nobody really reacted in chat or anything, probably used to seeing all sorts of crazy skins by now. It was more just a personal thing, trying out this weird fashion collab. Don’t know how often I’ll actually use it, depends on the mood, but it was an interesting experience seeing it in the shop and then actually running around with it in the game. Strange world we live in, eh?
