Okay, here’s my blog post about my experience with the 2016 Nissan GT-R:

So, I finally got my hands on a 2016 Nissan GT-R. I’ve always been a huge fan of these cars, and let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint. I mean, the raw power, the way it handles… pure adrenaline!
Getting Started
First thing I did was, obviously, just drive it. I took it out on some backroads, nothing crazy, just wanted to get a feel for it. I popped it into “R” mode, which I gotta say, that little switch makes a huge difference. Suddenly, the whole car just felt… tighter. More responsive. It’s like it went from being a powerful car to a straight-up beast.
The Drive
- Acceleration: Holy moly. 0 to 60 in what feels like two seconds. It pins you back in your seat, it’s insane.
- Handling:This is cornering on the backroad. It sticks to the road like glue. I pushed it a little, and it just felt so planted. So confidence-inspiring.
- Braking:The brakes are super strong. Stops on a dime, no drama. Which is good, because you’ll be going pretty fast pretty often.
The Interior
Inside, it’s pretty nice. I mean, it’s not a luxury car, but it’s definitely not cheap-feeling either. Comfortable, supportive seats, everything is right where you need it. The infotainment system is a little dated, maybe, but honestly, who cares? You’re not buying a GT-R for the touchscreen.
I spent the whole day just cruising around, hitting up some twisty roads, and basically just enjoying the heck out of it. I even got a few thumbs-up from other drivers, which, let’s be honest, is always a nice little ego boost.
Final Thoughts
All I can say is that, I was amazed. The 2016 Nissan GT-R is an incredible machine. It’s raw, it’s powerful, it’s fun… it’s everything I hoped it would be. If you ever get the chance to drive one, do it. You won’t regret it.
