Alright, so you wanna know about this Zegna, huh? I heard some things about it, you know, from the TV and stuff. Let me tell ya what I know, the way I understand it, mind you, ain’t no fancy talk from me.
Zegna, Big Shot in Men’s Clothes
Okay, so this Zegna, they say it’s the biggest men’s fancy clothes company in the whole wide world. Yeah, the biggest! They make all sorts of things, you know, shirts, pants, jackets, even shoes and bags. And they got stores everywhere, like, more than 500 of ’em! Can you believe that? That’s a whole lotta clothes, I tell ya.
Money, Money, Money!
Now, these Zegna folks, they make a lotta money. I heard someone sayin’ they made somethin’ like, uh… close to two billion euros in 2023. That’s a lot of zeros, even I know that! And they made a good chunk of money, too, like, over a hundred million euros. Shoot, I wish I had that kinda money! They sell their stuff all over the place, you know, Europe, Asia, America…everywhere!
- Europe, they call it “EMEA,” fancy folks, I tell ya. They buy a good bit, like, 35% of all the Zegna stuff.
- Then there’s Asia, “APAC” they call it. Them folks over there, they buy even more, like 41%! Guess they like fancy clothes too.
- And America, North America, that is, they buy some too, about 22%.
Still Growing, Like a Weed!
And they ain’t stoppin’ there, no sirree! This year, in 2024, they’re still makin’ more money. In the first nine months, they already made, what was it… 1.4 billion euros? Something like that. And the Zegna brand itself, just that part, made over 800 million euros. That’s a whole lotta money just for one part of their company.
What They Sell, Exactly?
So, what do they sell, you ask? Well, like I said, fancy clothes. Shirts, jackets, pants, all that. But they also got bags, shoes, and even little leather things, and big leather things too. You know, wallets, belts, that kinda stuff. They say they use really good stuff to make their clothes, like that wool from Australia, the “merino” wool they call it. And they’re good at makin’ suits, real good.
Zegna, Ermenegildo Zegna… What’s the Difference?
Now, some folks get confused about the name. They hear “Zegna” and then they hear “Ermenegildo Zegna”. It’s the same thing, pretty much. Ermenegildo Zegna is the whole name, the full name of the company, named after the fella who started it all, way back in 1910, with his brothers or sons or somethin’. Zegna is just the short version, like callin’ someone “Bobby” instead of “Robert.” You get it?
More Than Just Zegna, You Know
And get this, Zegna ain’t the only brand they got. They got a couple of others too. One’s called Thom Browne, and another one they just got is called Tom Ford Fashion. Fancy names, huh? They all sell fancy clothes and stuff.

So, that’s the gist of it. Zegna, big company, makes fancy clothes, makes lots of money. They use good stuff, been around a long time, and they keep growin’. They’re good at makin’ suits and they got stores all over the world. That’s about all I know about it. And if you ask me, why those clothes are so expensive? I say, I don’t know! Rich people like to spend money on fancy things, I guess. More money than sense, some of ‘em. But hey, if they got it, and they wanna spend it on Zegna, that’s their business, ain’t it?
