Okay, so I saw these “women’s extreme short shorts” trending online, and, well, I was curious. I’m not gonna lie, I’m usually a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, but sometimes you gotta step outside your comfort zone, right?

First, I had to find some. I went to a few stores, and it was actually kinda hard to find ones that were that short. Most of what they had were just regular shorts. I finally found a pair online that looked like they fit the bill.
When they arrived, I tried them on, and…whoa. Yeah, they were short. Like, really short. My first thought was, “There’s no way I can wear these in public.” My legs felt, I don’t know, naked? Exposed? It was a lot.
But I was committed to this little experiment. So, I took a deep breath and decided to wear them around the house first. Just to get used to the feeling. I did some chores, made lunch, you know, normal stuff. And honestly, after a while, I kinda forgot I was wearing them. They were surprisingly comfortable!
The Big Test
Then came the real test: wearing them out. I decided to just go for it and wore them to the grocery store. I’m not gonna lie, I felt super self-conscious at first. I kept thinking everyone was staring at me. But you know what? Nobody really cared. People are too busy with their own lives.
- I picked up my groceries.
- I chatted with the cashier (who didn’t even blink).
- I walked back to my car, feeling a little bit more confident.
By the end of the day, I was actually pretty comfortable in these shorts. I wouldn’t say they’re my new go-to outfit, but it was definitely a fun experience. It made me realize that sometimes, it’s good to push yourself a little, try something new, and see what happens. And it also reminded me that most people are way too preoccupied with their own stuff to notice what you’re wearing. Or, maybe my legs just look good that day.
