Okay, so I gotta share what I ended up doing the other week. I kept seeing stuff pop up online, basically Megan Fox turning into Kim Kardashian, or at least looking a lot like her. You know how the internet gets. At first, I just scrolled past, like, whatever, people change their style.
But it kept showing up. Pictures, articles, people arguing in comment sections. It kinda stuck in my head. So, one afternoon, I figured, okay, let’s actually look into this. Not like some serious investigation, just curiosity, you know? Like a little personal project to see what the fuss was about.
My Deep Dive Process
So, what did I do? It wasn’t very scientific, haha.
- I started scrolling. Pulled up Megan Fox’s Instagram feed on my tablet, Kim K’s on my phone. Put ’em side-by-side. Just scrolled way back on both.
- Looked at the pics. I mean really looked. The poses, the outfits, the makeup. Especially Megan’s style evolution after she got with Machine Gun Kelly. That seemed to be the turning point everyone talked about.
- Compared outfits. Yeah, I noticed similarities. Lots of tight stuff, bodysuits, kinda edgy fashion choices. Things that Kim K has been known for.
- Checked out that SKIMS shoot. Remember when they did that photoshoot together? I looked those pics up again. They definitely played up the whole “twin” vibe there.
What I Found (or Think I Found)
It wasn’t like some big secret conspiracy, obviously. But yeah, you can see the parallels. The fashion choices definitely got way more similar over time. Megan started going for these really bold, body-hugging looks, sharp angles, wet hair looks sometimes. Stuff that screams Kim K’s playbook.
It felt deliberate. Like a conscious choice to lean into that aesthetic. Maybe it was her stylist, maybe it was her, maybe it was the general trend, I dunno. But the similarity, especially in photoshoots and public appearances, became pretty undeniable. They definitely knew people were comparing them and leaned into it with that SKIMS thing.
You know, this whole exercise kinda reminded me of something stupid from way back. When I was working my first real office job, totally different world, right? There was this senior guy everyone seemed to admire. He had this specific way of talking, even how he held his coffee mug. And I remember consciously trying to copy some of his mannerisms for a few weeks, thinking it would make me seem more competent or something. It felt so awkward and fake. I guess seeing the Megan/Kim stuff, this massive public image thing, just made me think about how people, famous or not, try to shape perception, sometimes by borrowing from others. That boring office memory popped into my head while I was scrolling through all those glamour shots – weird connection, I know, but that’s where my brain went.
So yeah, that was my little dive into the Megan Fox-Kim Kardashian comparison thing. Didn’t solve any world problems, but it killed an afternoon. It’s just wild seeing how styles and images get passed around and adopted, especially under that Hollywood microscope.
