Okay, so I got this idea stuck in my head the other day, thinking about Laura Biagiotti stuff. Wasn’t really about the clothes this time, but more that classic perfume, Roma. It just kinda popped into my head, maybe I saw an old picture or something, honestly can’t pinpoint why. But suddenly, I felt like I needed to revisit it, you know? See if it was like I remembered.
First step, obviously, was getting my hands on a bottle. Wasn’t sure if it was easy to find these days, or if the formula had changed a ton. I started poking around online, looking at the usual perfume websites. Found it listed on a couple of legit-looking places. Compared prices a bit, nothing crazy. So I just went ahead and ordered one. Giving It a Go
Package arrived after maybe three or four days. Pretty standard shipping time. I opened it up pretty much straight away. The bottle itself, yeah, still has that distinctive look, like a Roman column. Kinda cool, feels solid. So, the moment of truth. I gave a little spray on my wrist. Whoa. Okay, that first blast was intense. Definitely took me back a bit, but also smelled… thicker? Maybe richer than my memory served. Or maybe my nose is just older, haha.
I let it sit for a while. Walked around doing my usual stuff. That initial sharpness, it started to calm down after ten, fifteen minutes. It turned into something warmer, a bit powdery, maybe a little bit fruity but not in that super sweet way you smell everywhere now. But for occasions where I want something different, something with a bit of history and character? Yeah, I can see myself reaching for it. It feels well-made. Glad I decided to track it down and try it properly again. Scratched that itch, you know?
