So, I’ve been wanting to try out those Tempest jet skis for a while now, and I finally got around to it last weekend. It was a bit of a spur-of-the-moment thing, but hey, those are sometimes the best kind, right?

First off, I hit up a few rental places near the lake. You know, just to see what the deal was. Most places had your usual run-of-the-mill jet skis, but I was looking for something with a bit more oomph. That’s where the Tempest comes in. I’d heard good things about them – fast, sleek, the whole nine yards.
Found a spot that rented them out, and let me tell you, it wasn’t cheap. But I figured, when am I gonna get another chance, right? I shelled out the cash and got myself suited up. Life vest on, quick safety rundown from the guy at the counter, and I was good to go.
They wheeled the jet ski out to the water, and man, it looked even better up close. Shiny, new, ready to rip. I hopped on, got a quick tutorial on the controls – pretty straightforward stuff – and fired it up. That engine purred like a kitten… a very powerful kitten.
Hitting the Water
- I eased it out into the lake, getting a feel for the throttle. Touchy at first, but I got the hang of it.
- Opened it up a little, and whoa, this thing can move. It’s like a rocket on water.
- Started carving some turns, testing the handling. Tight and responsive, just how I like it.
Spent the next hour just cruising around, pushing the limits a bit. I gotta say, those Tempest jet skis live up to the hype. I was zipping around, catching some air off the waves – it was a blast.
Of course, I made sure to be mindful of other folks out on the water. No need to be a jerk, you know? Gave everyone plenty of space, kept an eye out for boats, the usual.

All in all, it was a great time. Definitely worth the money. If you’re thinking about trying out a Tempest jet ski, I say go for it. Just be prepared to have a ridiculous grin on your face the whole time.
