Getting My Hands On It
So, I heard about this “our moment” perfume quite a while back. Can’t remember exactly where, probably just saw it somewhere, you know how these things pop up. Didn’t think much of it then. But recently, I was looking for something new, something light, maybe for everyday wear. Stumbled across it again online and thought, why not? Added it to my cart and ordered it.
First Look and Sniff
The package arrived a few days later. Nothing too fancy, just a standard box. Pulled out the perfume box itself. It was alright, pinkish colors, nothing groundbreaking but looked decent enough. I opened it up and took out the bottle. Okay, the bottle was kind of interesting. It had this sort of crown thing on top, quite unique I guess. Felt solid in my hand.
I was curious, obviously. Took the cap off. Decided to just spray a little bit on my wrist first. Held it a few inches away and gave it one good press. Whoosh. The first thing that hit me was fruit. Definitely fruit, like berries maybe? And something sweet. It was quite strong right at the start.
Wearing It Through the Day
I let it sit for a bit, waved my wrist around. The initial strong fruitiness started to calm down after maybe twenty minutes. Then it felt more… floral? Yeah, some light flower smell came through. It wasn’t overpowering, which was good. I went about my day, did some chores, went out for a walk.
I kept sniffing my wrist occasionally. The scent changed subtly. That sweetness stayed, but it became softer, mixed with the floral thing. It wasn’t complex, pretty straightforward smell really. Easy to wear. I asked my partner later if they noticed anything, they just said “smells nice, fruity”. So, it wasn’t exactly turning heads, but it was pleasant enough.
Longevity? Hmm. It wasn’t amazing. By the late afternoon, I could barely smell it on my wrist unless I put my nose right up to it. It faded quite gently, didn’t turn weird or anything, just disappeared mostly. I guess I’d need to reapply if I wanted it to last all day and into the evening.
My Final Thoughts
So, after trying it out for a few days, what’s the verdict? It’s… okay. It’s a perfectly nice, light, fruity-floral scent. Very youthful, I’d say. Reminds me of something a teenager might wear, maybe as a first perfume. It didn’t blow me away, didn’t make me go “wow”. But it wasn’t bad either. Just simple and pleasant.
I used it up eventually, mostly just wearing it around the house or for quick errands. It’s not something I’d probably buy again for myself, just not really my style anymore. But I get why some people might like it, especially if they prefer really light, sweet, uncomplicated scents. It did its job, was an easy reach for a while. Just wasn’t our moment, I guess, more like a moment.
