Alright, so I decided to track down that Prince William Christmas card for 2024 that people started mentioning. You know how it is, every year they put one out and everyone has a look.
First thing, I just went online. Typed in something simple like “Wales family Christmas card 2024”. Had to sift through a bit of the usual news articles talking about it before I found the actual image they released. Took a minute or two, not too bad.
Finally got it loaded up on the screen. Okay, first thoughts. It’s another photo, obviously. Looks like they went with black and white again this year, which seems to be a thing they do sometimes. Gives it that classic look, I suppose.
What I Saw
It’s William and Catherine, and the three kids – George, Charlotte, and Louis. They’re all standing together. Looked like maybe taken in a studio setting, or at least somewhere with a plain background. Not outdoorsy like some previous ones.
- George is really shooting up, looking quite tall now next to his dad.
- Charlotte has that familiar confident look she often has in photos.
- And young Louis, well, he looked like he was behaving for the camera this time around!
Compared to last year’s, which felt very casual, this one seemed a tiny bit more… put together? Not stuffy or overly formal, don’t get me wrong, but maybe less spontaneous-looking than the 2023 one where they were all in matching shirts and jeans. This felt more like a classic family portrait, just, you know, in black and white.
My Take on It
Honestly? It’s a nice picture. A perfectly fine Christmas card photo. You see the family, they look well, kids are growing up fast. It does the job, sends out that holiday greeting vibe from the family. Nothing too shocking or revolutionary, just a solid family photo.
I spent a few minutes just looking at the details, seeing how much the kids have changed in a year. It’s always interesting from that perspective. Then I basically closed the window and got on with my day. It’s one of those things you look at, maybe think “oh, that’s nice” or “hmm, interesting choice”, and then move on.
So yeah, that was my little exercise in checking out the 2024 Wales family Christmas card. Found it, looked at it, made my mind up. Simple as that. Another year, another royal card ticked off the list.
