Alright, so the other day I was just kinda flipping through shows, nothing major, and I landed on that “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” thing. My kid’s been talking about it, so I figured, why not see what the fuss is about? Anyway, this actor, Joshua Bassett, who plays one of the main guys, Ricky, caught my eye. And just like that, a random thought popped into my head: “Huh, I wonder how tall that fella actually is?” You know how these things go, right? Just a stray curiosity.
So, what’s the first thing I did? Pulled out my phone, of course. Went straight to my usual search engine and typed in something simple like “joshua bassett height.” Didn’t expect a whole investigation, just a quick answer.
My Little Search Journey
A whole bunch of pages came up, as they always do. Some fan sites, some of those celebrity info pages, the usual mix. I wasn’t about to spend hours on this, mind you, just wanted a quick peek. I started clicking on a few of the top results, just skimming through.

The number that kept appearing was 5 feet 11 inches. I saw it on a few different spots. Made a mental note. Then, I noticed some places also listed it in metric, which is handy sometimes. That came out as 1.80 meters. Seemed to match up pretty well with the 5’11”, so that felt right.
I didn’t go digging for, like, official doctor’s notes or anything, haha! It was more like, okay, this figure is popping up consistently across a few different sources. It also kinda matched what I saw on screen, you know, how he stood next to the other actors. It just sort of… fit. So, I figured, yeah, that’s probably the real deal, or close enough for a casual bit of curiosity.
