Alright, so the other day, the phrase “delta burke legs” popped into my head. Don’t ask me why, sometimes random old TV stuff just surfaces, you know? It got me thinking about watching shows like “Designing Women” way back when.

So, I figured, let me see what comes up if I just search around a bit, maybe find some old clips or remember some episodes. I wasn’t really looking for anything specific, just kind of fell down the memory lane rabbit hole. Fired up the computer, typed it in.
First few results were kinda what you’d expect, pictures, articles from that time. But then I got distracted. Started clicking on links about the show itself, “Designing Women.” Remember that show? Man, it had some sharp writing sometimes.
Where I Ended Up
Next thing I know, I’m not even thinking about the original search. I’m watching interviews with the cast from years ago. Then I started thinking about other shows from that era. It turned into a whole session of nostalgia.
I basically spent like an hour just clicking around. My thought process went something like this:
- Okay, “Designing Women”.
- Who were the other actresses? Annie Potts, Jean Smart… oh yeah!
- Wonder what they did right after the show?
- Clicked on some “where are they now” type pages.
- Saw a mention of another late 80s/early 90s show.
- Went looking for clips of that show.
- Ended up watching blooper reels for a completely different sitcom.
It’s funny how you start looking for one thing, totally specific, like thinking about “delta burke legs”, and you end up miles away, watching totally unrelated stuff. Just reminded me how the internet, and just your own memory, can lead you on these wild goose chases. Wasn’t very productive, but it was a trip thinking about all that old television.

Didn’t really find anything profound, just killed some time and remembered some old laughs. It’s just interesting what sticks in your head and what rabbit holes you fall down when you start poking around those memories. That was my little journey starting with that random thought.
