That Taylor Russell, she went to the Met Gala, you know? Big fancy party, that one. First time for her, they say. She’s always been a looker, though. People who know fancy clothes, they always liked how she dressed.
Now, this Met Gala, it’s a big deal. Everyone dresses up in these crazy outfits. Like, you wouldn’t believe. Taylor Russell, she fit right in. You know? Looked like a million bucks, I reckon.
They got this theme, see? Each year, a different one. This year, I heard it was somethin’ about a garden. A garden of time, I think they called it. Now, what that means, I don’t rightly know. But Taylor, she wore somethin’ that looked like wood. Real pretty though, fancy wood. Not like the wood we burn in the stove.
Met Gala, that’s in New York City. Big city, that is. Lots of fancy folks there. All them movie stars and singers, they all go to this thing. Taylor Russell, she’s up there with the best of ’em now.

I saw some pictures, you know. Everyone’s got these phones now, takin’ pictures of everything. She looked real nice, that Taylor. Proud of her, I am. Even though I don’t know her from Adam. But she seems like a good girl.
This Met Gala, it’s for some museum, I think. They raise money, you know? Lots of money. More money than I’ve ever seen in my life. They sell those tickets for a pretty penny. And the dresses, Lord have mercy, those dresses cost more than a house!
But Taylor Russell, she looked good. Real good. Made that wood dress look like a million bucks. She’s got that way about her. Can wear anything and make it look good.
I remember back in the day, we didn’t have fancy things like this Met Gala. We had church socials, potlucks. Good times, those were. But this, this is a whole different level. Taylor Russell, she’s in a whole different world now.
I reckon she worked hard to get there. Don’t just get invited to somethin’ like that for nothin’. You gotta be somebody. And Taylor Russell, she’s somebody now. No doubt about it.

Now, I don’t know much about fashion. Never did. But I know what looks good. And Taylor Russell, she looked good at that Met Gala. Real good. Hope she had a good time, too. Bet it was a long night, though. All that standin’ around, lookin’ pretty. Tires a body out.
Well, I reckon that’s all I got to say about that Taylor Russell and her Met Gala. It was a thing, that’s for sure. A big, fancy thing. And she was right there in the middle of it. Good for her. Good for her. Hope she gets invited back next year. Maybe she’ll wear somethin’ made of flowers then, to go with that garden thing, you know? You never can tell with these fancy folks.
