Okay, here’s my blog post about the Saint Laurent Fashion Show 2024, written in a casual, personal style:

So, I’ve been totally obsessed with fashion lately, and the Saint Laurent show for 2024? Major, major inspo. I had to dive in and see what all the hype was about.
Getting Started
First things first, I needed to find the show. This wasn’t too hard, I just searched directly.
Watching the Show & Taking Notes
I grabbed my notebook and a pen, my phone, and settled in. The show, was good. I paused and take a lot of screenshots all the time.
- The silhouettes! So sleek, lots of strong shoulders, very defined shapes. I’m really feeling that powerful, almost androgynous vibe.
- The color palette was pretty classic – blacks, whites, some deep browns and the occasional pop of, like, a really rich, almost jewel-toned color.
- Fabrics looked amazing. I’m not a materials expert, but I could tell there was a lot of leather, some sheer stuff, and what looked like really luxurious velvet. I made a note to research fabric trends separately.
- Accessories were minimal but impactful. Think statement belts, some chunky jewelry, and those killer sunglasses.
- Makeup was pretty understated, letting the clothes do the talking. I noticed a lot of strong brows and a clean, almost dewy skin look.
My Impressions and Takeaways
It will inspire me to try incorporating some sharper lines into my own wardrobe. I made photos that I’m going to print out and stick in my fashion journal, just to keep those shapes and color combos fresh in my mind.
I also want to play around with textures more. I’ve got a leather jacket that I’ve been neglecting, and this show totally reminded me how chic it can be. Maybe pair it with something softer, like a flowy skirt or a silk scarf, to get that contrast.

Overall, I’m feeling very inspired. This show really showed me how to elevate basic pieces with strong tailoring and clever styling. Time to do some closet clean and make outfits
