Okay, so I saw everyone talking about Hailey Bieber’s look at the 2024 Met Gala, and I just had to try and recreate it myself. I mean, that dress? The hair? The whole vibe? Stunning!

Getting Started
First, I spent way too long scrolling through pictures online. I wanted to get every detail just right. I needed good shots of the dress, her makeup, and especially her hair, because that updo looked complicated.
The Dress
This was the toughest part. Obviously, I don’t have a custom-made Saint Laurent gown lying around. I searched through my closet for something, anything, white and elegant. I ended up using a long white slip dress. It wasn’t perfect, but it had a similar flowy feel.
The Hair
- Step 1:I started by parting my hair down the middle.
- Step 2:Then I pulled it back into a super sleek, low ponytail. Lots of hairspray to get rid of any flyaways.
- Step 3:This is where it got tricky. I tried to twist the ponytail into a bun, but it kept falling apart. I ended up using a ton of bobby pins to secure *’s not that neat.
- Step 4:The key, I think, is to make it look effortless, even if it took, like, 20 minutes.
The Makeup
I already wear makeup,so I didn’t buy anything new to do *’s makeup was pretty simple, but glowy.
- Base:I used a light foundation and concealer.
- Highlight:Lots of highlighter on my cheekbones, brow bone, and the inner corners of my eyes.
- Eyes:I used a shimmery, champagne-colored eyeshadow and a thin line of black eyeliner.
- Lips:I finished with a nude, glossy lipstick.
The Final Result
Okay, so I definitely didn’t look exactly like Hailey *’s not as gorgerous as I thought. But I think I captured the general essence of the look. The sleek hair, the glowy makeup, the simple white dress.I felt pretty good! And it was fun to play dress-up for a bit.
