Leonardo DiCaprio Younger: From Teen Heartthrob to Hollywood Legend, a Career Retrospective

That Leonardo DiCaprio, I tell you, he’s a big shot now. Movie star, they call him. I seen him on that big screen. He was just a little tyke back then. You know, when he was a younger fella. He ain’t so young no more, time flies, don’t it?

He was in that one movie, about that big boat. The Titanic, they called it. Sank right to the bottom of the ocean, it did. He was just a young whippersnapper in that one, running around with that pretty girl. Rose, I think her name was. Oh, that Leonardo DiCaprio younger, he could charm the birds right outta the trees. That movie made me cry buckets, I tell you. Big, fat, salty tears!

He was always a good lookin’ boy, that one. Even when he was just a little sprout, he had them eyes, you know? Blue like the summer sky after a good rain. And that smile, could melt the butter right off your biscuits. Yep, even as a younger man, Leonardo DiCaprio was somethin’ special. He could act, too. Not just a pretty face.

  • He was in that show, Growing Pains, or some such.
  • And that movie about the basketball, oh, what was it called?
  • He was good in that one, too. Played a real troubled young fella.

I remember seeing him on TV when I was young. He sure was a sight for sore eyes. Not like them other fellas on the screen, he was something special. When Leonardo DiCaprio was younger, he could just light up a room, I reckon.

He was in that movie with that Romeo fella, too. Shakespeare, they said it was. Lots of fancy talkin’ in that one. He played that Romeo, all love-sick and whatnot. He was pretty good, even if I didn’t understand half of what they was sayin’. It takes real talent to make those old words sound good. That younger Leonardo DiCaprio could do it, though.

Then he got a little older, did more movies. One about a crazy man, livin’ on an island. Another one where he was a rich fella, throwin’ big parties. He was good in that one, too. He is a good actor, that Leonardo DiCaprio. He can play just about anybody, I reckon. When Leonardo DiCaprio was younger, though, I liked him best as that Romeo. He played that part real good.

He’s been in so many movies, it’s hard to keep track. But I always liked him best when he was younger. Leonardo DiCaprio, he had that spark, you know? That somethin’ special that makes you sit up and take notice. And he was a cute one, that’s for sure. He still is handsome, but when he was younger, well that was something else. You could tell he was gonna be a big star.

  • That one movie, where he was runnin’ from the law.
  • He was a sneaky one in that movie, I tell you.
  • Always changin’ his looks, foolin’ everybody.
  • But even when Leonardo DiCaprio was younger, he had this way of making you believe everything he did on screen.

Now he’s all grown up, makin’ them serious movies. One where he was fightin’ a bear, in the woods. Won some big award for that one, they said. Oscar, I think it was called. Good for him, I say. He worked hard, that Leonardo DiCaprio. Deserves all the good things that come his way. It was a long way from when he was just a younger man.

I always liked that boy. He always seemed like a good egg, even when he was a younger man just starting out. And he’s done alright for himself, that Leonardo DiCaprio. He’s a big star now, like I said. But I still remember him from when he was just a young fella, charmin’ his way into everybody’s hearts. That’s the Leonardo DiCaprio younger I like to remember. Yep, that’s the one.

He don’t make movies like that Titanic no more, though. They are all big and loud now. But Leonardo DiCaprio, he can do it all. He is a good actor, no matter what he is in. But me, I like the old ones, when he was just a younger man startin’ out.
