Okay, so yesterday I was going down this rabbit hole of celebrity weddings, and you won’t believe what I stumbled upon – Kit Harington and Rose Leslie’s wedding! You know, Jon Snow and Ygritte from Game of Thrones? I had to dig deeper, so I did what anyone would do.
The Deep Dive Begins
First I opened the search engine and typed in “kit harington and rose leslie wedding”. I know, super original, right? The screen is full of articles, photos, and videos.
So, I started just clicking on things that looked promising. News articles at first, just to get the basic facts. Date, location, that sort of thing. Got that nailed down pretty quick.
Gathering the Goods
- I read that they got married on June 23, 2018.
- I found pictures of the location, it is Rose Leslie’s family’s castle, Wardhill Castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. How cool is that, getting married in an actual castle?
I scrolled through loads of photos. I felt like a total stalker, but hey, it’s all public info, right? I must have looked at hundreds of photos.
I saw some photos of Rose Leslie’s dress. It’s gorgeous!
Putting It All Together
After a few hours of this, I had a pretty good picture of the whole thing. It sounded like a really beautiful, and relatively private, affair. Friends, family, co-stars, and a real-life castle.
Honestly, it just made me want to rewatch some Game of Thrones!
