Okay, guys, so today I’m diving into something I’ve been messing around with: Kanye West’s impact on fashion. It’s been a wild ride, so buckle up!

My Little Experiment with Kanye’s Style

First off, I started by just looking at a ton of pictures. You know, scrolling through endless images of Kanye at different events, on the streets, just everywhere.

Then, I tried to break it down. What was he actually wearing? What kept popping up?

  • Oversized everything – hoodies, tees, jackets. Like, seriously oversized.
  • Lots of neutral colors – beige, gray, black, you get the idea.
  • Layering. He’s always got like, three shirts on at once.
  • Those Yeezy sneakers, obviously.
  • And ripped jeans. Can’t forget those.

So, I decided to give it a shot myself. I went to my closet and grabbed the biggest hoodie I could find. It was, like, swimming on me. I paired that with some baggy sweatpants and my plainest sneakers. It was comfy, I’ll give him that.

Next, I experimented with the layering. I put on a t-shirt, then a long-sleeved shirt, and then another t-shirt on top. It felt… a bit much, to be honest. Maybe I didn’t get the hang of it.

I also tried to find some ripped jeans, but I only had one pair, and they weren’t quite as ripped as Kanye’s. I guess I need to, uh, work on that.

The neutral color thing was easy. I already have a lot of gray and black clothes. So, I threw on a gray t-shirt and black jeans. That part felt pretty natural.

The Final Result (Sort Of)

Honestly, my attempt at Kanye’s style was a bit of a mixed bag. Some parts were cool, like the oversized hoodie. Super comfy. The layering, though? Not so much. I felt like a stuffed sausage. And the ripped jeans? Let’s just say I need more practice with the whole “distressed” look.

The point is, It is great to see the fashion style of Kanye West, and it felt good to try on my own though I need more practice on it!
