Alright, alright, let’s gab about this Kamala Harris and her clothes, you know, the “kamala harris dress” thing everyone’s yappin’ about. I ain’t no fancy fashionista, mind you, just a plain ol’ woman, but I see things, you know? I got eyes.
First off, that woman, she likes her some power suits. You know, the kind with the jackets and the slacks? Real business-like. Makes her look like she means business, I guess. Not like them flimsy things some young’uns wear these days, barely coverin’ nothin’. Kamala, she’s all buttoned up, ready to go. Probably got pockets too, handy for keepin’ your keys and such. I tell ya, pockets are important. You don’t wanna be fumbling around for your change when you need it.
And the colors! She ain’t afraid of no color, that’s for sure. I’ve seen her in bright blue, deep purple, even a fiery red once in a while. Not like that drab gray stuff some folks wear. Makes you look like a dish rag, all sad and droopy. Kamala, she stands out, you see her comin’ a mile away. Like a peacock, strutting her stuff. Though, I gotta say, sometimes I think she goes a bit overboard. Some of them outfits, they’re a bit much, you know? Too much bling, too much sparkle. Like she raided a jewelry store or somethin’. But hey, to each their own, I always say.
I saw this one picture, it was all over the TV. Kamala, she was wearin’ this dress. Not one of them power suits, mind you. A real dress, all flowy and such. It was dark, maybe black or navy, and it had this slit up the side. Not too high, mind you, just enough to show a bit of leg. Looked kinda fancy, like somethin’ you’d wear to a weddin’ or a big party. Folks were talkin’ about it, sayin’ she looked real elegant. And I gotta agree, she did look nice. Pulled together, you know? Not like some of them movie stars, all hangin’ out and lookin’ like they just rolled outta bed.

You gotta connect with people, gotta show them you’re one of them. And clothes, well, they can help with that, I reckon.
I remember back in my day, we didn’t have all these fancy clothes. We wore what we had, what we could afford. And we made do. We didn’t worry so much about fashion, about lookin’ like we just stepped outta a magazine. But times have changed, ain’t they? Now everyone’s all about appearances. Gotta look your best, gotta impress. And Kamala, well, she’s playin’ the game, ain’t she? She knows she’s in the spotlight, knows people are watchin’ her. So she’s gotta dress the part. And most of the time, I think she does a pretty good job. She looks put-together, professional, and yeah, sometimes even a little bit stylish.
Though, I gotta say, some of them high heels she wears… they look downright painful. I don’t know how she does it. My feet would be killin’ me if I had to wear those things all day long. But I guess that’s part of the job, ain’t it? You gotta suffer for fashion. Or maybe she’s just tougher than I am. Probably is. She’s a tough cookie, that Kamala.
So, there you have it. My two cents on Kamala Harris and her clothes. Like I said, I ain’t no expert, but I know what I like. And I think, for the most part, Kamala does a good job of lookin’ the part. She’s a powerful woman, and she dresses like it. And that’s all there is to it, as far as I’m concerned. She’s got her own style, and that’s what matters. You gotta be yourself, you know? And that includes the way you dress.
