Okay, so I saw this “Jill Biden vote dress” thing trending and thought, “Hey, I can totally do that!” I’m not a super crafty person, but it looked simple enough. Here’s how it went down:
Getting Started
First, I needed a plain black dress. Luckily, I had an old one in my closet that I didn’t wear much anymore. Perfect! Then, I needed something to write “VOTE” on it with. I thought about fabric paint, but I didn’t want to buy a whole bottle for just this one project.
The Trial and Error
- Attempt 1: I tried using a white chalk marker. Nope. Didn’t show up well at all on the black fabric. Total fail.
- Attempt 2: I remembered I had some white-out correction pens somewhere. Dug those out and tried again. It was… okay. Kind of messy and not very bold.
- Attempt 3：It looks good.
The Solution (Kind Of)
Finally.I use correction pens to write the VOTE.
So, yeah, that’s my “Jill Biden vote dress” adventure. It’s not perfect, It is unique,simple,and conveys a * after this whole process,my hands are covered with correction fluid!
