Alright, so you wanna know about this Sebastian Manes fella, huh? Well, lemme tell ya what I know, the way I know how to tell it. Don’t expect no fancy words from me, I’m just a plain talkin’ person.
First off, this Sebastian, he seems like a big shot, ya know? The kind that deals with fancy things. He’s all about buyin’ and sellin’ stuff, clothes for women and kids, bags and such, even that makeup stuff the young girls wear. And food too! He works at some place called Selfridges, sounds like a big ol’ store where rich folks go.
Now, this ain’t just any ol’ job. He’s the director, see? That means he’s the boss man, tellin’ everyone what to buy and how to sell it. Must be a smart fella, knowin’ what people want and all. I tell ya, it ain’t easy sellin’ things, especially to them picky city folk.
But that ain’t all he does. This Sebastian, he’s also got this other thing goin’ on, somethin’ called Harper Collective. Sounds fancy, don’t it? He started it with that Jaden Smith boy, Will Smith’s kid. You know, that Fresh Prince fella? Yeah, his son.
- So, what’s this Harper Collective all about? Well, from what I hear, they’re tryin’ to do some good in the world. They’re takin’ old junk, stuff people throw away, and makin’ somethin’ new and fancy out of it.
- They call it “reclaimed materials,” sounds like a big word for garbage to me. But hey, if they can make somethin’ good outta garbage, I ain’t complainin’.
- And it ain’t just any ol’ stuff they’re makin’. They’re makin’ “luxury products,” you know, the kind that costs a whole lotta money. Purses, bags, clothes, that kinda thing. Stuff for the rich folks again.
Now, what’s the point of all this? Well, they say they’re tryin’ to help the environment. They don’t like all that plastic waste, ya know, all them plastic bottles and bags clutterin’ up the world. So they’re usin’ old stuff to make new stuff, instead of makin’ more plastic. Good for them, I say. We got enough garbage in this world already.
And they ain’t just doin’ it by themselves. They’re teamin’ up with this German fashion company, MCM. Never heard of ’em, but they must be big if they’re workin’ with Sebastian and Jaden. They’re makin’ travel stuff, like suitcases and bags, but they’re doin’ it the “sustainable” way. That means they’re tryin’ not to hurt the environment while they’re makin’ it.
So, this Sebastian Manes fella, he’s a businessman, a do-gooder, and a fancy pants all rolled into one. He’s sellin’ fancy things to rich folks, but he’s also tryin’ to save the planet, one recycled bag at a time. Good for him, I say. We need more people like him in this world, people who care about more than just makin’ a buck. Though I reckon he’s makin’ plenty of bucks too, sellin’ them fancy recycled bags.
He’s a smart fella, this Sebastian. Knows how to make money and how to get people talkin’. That Jaden Smith kid, he’s got a big name, so that helps too. Together, they’re makin’ a splash, gettin’ their names in the papers and all that. And good for them, I say. As long as they’re doin’ some good in the world, I ain’t got no problem with ’em.
But let me tell ya somethin’, all this fancy talk about “sustainability” and “reclaimed materials,” it don’t mean nothin’ if folks ain’t buyin’ the stuff. So, I guess Sebastian’s gotta be good at sellin’ too. And by the sounds of it, he is. He’s got the brains and the connections to make things happen. And that’s what it takes in this world, ain’t it? Brains, connections, and a whole lotta hustle.
