Alright, so the other day, I found myself going down a bit of a rabbit hole, specifically focused on Adriana Lima back in 2010. It wasn’t for any big project, more like a personal curiosity thing, you know? Sometimes you just get an itch to look back at a specific time.
First off, I just jumped onto my computer. Opened up my usual browser. My go-to move was simple: just typing “Adriana Lima 2010” into the search bar. Hit enter. Bam. Loads of images popped up, mostly the big stuff, like the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show from that year. Saw those iconic looks, the wings, all that jazz. That show was definitely a highlight for her that year, no doubt.
But I felt like digging a bit more. I wasn’t just after the runway shots everyone’s seen a million times. I wanted to see what else was going on with her that specific year.
Digging Deeper
So, I started tweaking my searches. Added stuff like “events”, “appearances”, “candids” to “Adriana Lima 2010”. This started bringing up different kinds of pictures. Red carpet events, some parties maybe. It was interesting seeing the different styles she wore off the runway back then. Definitely a different vibe compared to today.
I spent some time just clicking through image results, opening things in new tabs. Found some photos from movie premieres or charity galas she attended in 2010. It’s like piecing together a little visual timeline of her year.
Then I thought about magazines. She was huge then, obviously. So I tried searching for specific magazine names plus “Adriana Lima 2010”. Like “Vogue Adriana Lima 2010” or trying other big fashion mags from that period. This turned up some cool covers and editorial spreads I’d forgotten about, or maybe never even saw back in the day. The fashion photography itself felt very ‘2010’, if that makes sense.

Sorting it Out
As I was finding pics I liked or found interesting, I started saving them. Just right-clicking and saving image as. Dumped them all into a new folder I made, just called it “Lima 2010” or something simple like that.
After a while, the folder got pretty full. It was just a jumble of runway, events, candids, magazine shots. So, I took a few minutes to organize it a bit better. Made some subfolders inside the main one:
- VSFS 2010
- Events and Red Carpet 2010
- Magazine Shoots 2010
- Candids 2010
Moved the images into the right folders. Felt much better, much tidier. Made it easier to actually look at everything I’d gathered.
And… yeah, that was pretty much it. Spent maybe an evening doing this? Just exploring, saving, sorting. Like I said, no grand purpose. Just a way to satisfy a curiosity about a specific person in a specific year. It’s kinda fun to see how much things change – styles, photo quality, everything – in just over a decade. Made me feel a bit old, haha. But it was a decent way to spend some time, just digging through digital archives, basically.
