Okay, so the other day I was reading some news about Turkey and its economy, and I got curious about how big their textile industry is. I mean, you always hear about Turkish towels and clothes, right? So, I decided to dig in and find out what percentage of Turkey’s economy is all about textiles.

So I started find a trustable source, I kept looking, kept reading, and after a good while, I finally started to get a clearer picture.
It seems like the textile and apparel industry is indeed a significant player, but it’s not as huge as some other sectors like, say, the automotive industry. The numbers vary depending on the source and what exactly they’re measuring, it’s probably somewhere in that ballpark.
