Okay, here’s my experience with Gloria Vanderbilt Capri Pants, shared in a casual, blog-post style:

So, I’ve been on the hunt for some decent capri pants. You know, the kind that are comfy, but don’t make you look like you’ve completely given up on life? I’d heard some good things about Gloria Vanderbilt, specifically the Amanda style, so I decided to give them a shot.
The Search Begins
First, I had to find them. I have done some searching online. I like reading reviews before buying stuff, you know, checking out many places and comparing to see many models.
Trying Them On (and On… and On…)
My main concern was the fit. I’m, uh, curvy, and pants can be a real challenge. I started with my usual size but, the waist was way too big, even with the little elastic bits on the sides. I tried a size down, fit through the hips, but the waist was still a bit loose. Dang it!
- First Try: My usual size. Result: Nope. Too big in the waist.
- Second Try: One size down. Result: Better in hips, waist still a little loose.
The Verdict (For Now)
I ended up keeping the smaller size. Because the material has some give and I plan wear in summer. After several times washing, I found they’re pretty darn comfortable. They’re soft, they move with me, and they don’t feel restrictive at all. Plus, they have actual pockets, which is always a win! Overall it is good.
I might still get the waist taken in a bit at some point, but for now, I’m pretty happy with them. I’ll keep you guys posted on how they hold up after a few washes and wears!
