Okay, so I’ve been seeing these Mary J. Blige boots everywhere lately. I mean, they are fire, no doubt. But I wanted to see if I could find a pair, maybe even try them on, get the whole experience, you know?
The Hunt Begins
First things first, I hit up Google. Just typed in “Mary J. Blige boots” and let the search engine do its thing. I scrolled through a bunch of images, trying to get a feel for the different styles. Some were thigh-high, some ankle, some had crazy embellishments… it was a lot!
I narrowed it down to a few styles I really liked. Then I started checking out the details, seeing where these things were even sold. Turns out, a lot of them were from her collection with a partnership.
Trying Stuff On
I found a store that carries some boots. So, I went to the store, I spotted a couple of pairs that looked promising. The sales associate was super helpful, she brought out my size in a few different styles.
I slipped on a pair of the thigh-highs first. Whew, chile! They were definitely a statement. I walked around the store a bit, trying to get a feel for them. They were surprisingly comfortable, but I wasn’t sure if they were me, you know?
Next, I tried on some ankle boots. These were more my speed. They were still super stylish, but a little more everyday. I did a few twirls in front of the mirror, feeling myself, haha! I also tested the zippers, checked to see if my jeans would tuck into them that kind stuff.
The Verdict
After trying on a bunch of different styles, I decided ankle boots styles were my favorite. I loved how they looked and felt.
