Okay, so I’ve been seeing this “Fendi Dragonite” thing popping up everywhere, and I was like, “What the heck is that?” Turns out, it’s a collaboration between Fendi, Fragment, and Pokemon for the Year of the Dragon. A Dragonite-themed collection. I, being a bit of a Pokemon fan (who isn’t, really?), decided I had to check it out, even if it was just window shopping.

First, I scoured the Fendi website. I mean, I just typed “Fendi Dragonite” into Google, and boom, there it was. The landing page was pretty slick, all minimalist and stylish. They had pictures of the whole collection – bags, clothes, keychains… everything Dragonite-ified.
The Hunt Begins
I quickly realized this wasn’t going to be a simple “add to cart” situation. Some items were already showing as “sold out” online. So, phase two involved a bit more effort. I called my local Fendi boutique. Yep, actually picked up the phone. The sales associate was super nice, but they confirmed what I feared: extremely limited stock. Most of it was gone, but the Dragonite Plush and a Card Case has one!
The Real-World Experience
And get this, they said the in-store experience was a whole thing. Apparently, they had special displays, even some Pokemon Go integration with lures at the boutiques. That sounded pretty cool, but it was the last one for goods, and I have to work, so I just have to buy it online.
The Aftermath (and the Damage)
So, after all that, I got a card case. A Fendi Dragonite Card Case. Ridiculous? Maybe. Awesome? Absolutely. But, and this I got it! This is the most wonderful experience!
- Step 1: Googled “Fendi Dragonite”.
- Step 2: Saw the collection online, some stuff already sold out.
- Step 3: Called local Fendi store, super limited stock.
- Step 4: Discovered the in-store events, but had to skip.
- Step 5: Finally Got the Card Case
It was a journey. That’s what I got, but I was so exciting!
