Okay, so I was digging around in my old fashion files and stumbled upon this “Elie Saab 2003” thing. I gotta share this because it brought back some serious memories!

My Little Fashion History Project
First off, I grabbed my old notebooks. You know, the ones with all the magazine clippings and scribbled notes from back in the day? I flipped through those dusty pages, searching for anything related to Elie Saab’s 2003 collections.
Then I dove into the internet. Let me tell you, it’s way easier now to find this stuff than it was back then! I spent a good chunk of time looking at old runway photos and some articles that popped up, I could have found the whole collections at that time!
- I started with the Spring/Summer 2003 collection. Oh man, the dresses! So flowy, so much sparkle. I totally remembered seeing those gowns and thinking, “I need one of those in my life!” (Spoiler: I never got one, but a girl can dream, right?)
- Next, I checked out the Fall/Winter 2003 stuff. It was all darker colors, more velvet and heavier fabrics. Still super elegant, but with a more dramatic vibe. I jotted down some notes about the different styles and how they compared to the earlier collection.
- I also tried finding the haute couture collection.
After gathering all this info, I decided to put together my own little “lookbook” inspired by Elie Saab 2003. So cool, right?
I basically just put images in the correct order by date.

I finished by writing some captions, imagining how I’d describe each look if I was a fashion blogger back in 2003 (which, let’s be real, I totally wanted to be!).
It’s funny, right? Because it took me, an regular person, a little while to put together a fashion show that already happened.
