Okay, so I’ve been obsessed with Dublin street style lately. I decided to give it a try and document my whole process. Here’s how it went down!

Getting Inspired
First things first, I needed some inspiration. I spent, like, hours scrolling through photos. I looked at some usual images about Dublin street styles on the Internet. And I saved anything that caught my eye – certain color combos, specific pieces, how people were layering things, that kind of stuff.
Checking My Closet
Next, I dove into my own wardrobe. I wanted to see what I already had that could work. I was looking for anything that felt, I don’t know, “Dublin-esque?” Think chunky knits, maybe some cool boots, anything with a bit of an edge.
The Experimentation Phase
This is where the fun (and the mess!) started. I tried on, like, a million different combinations. Seriously, my room was a disaster zone. I put together outfits I thought would work, and honestly, some were total failures. But that’s part of the process, right?
- Attempt 1: A flowy dress with a leather jacket and sneakers. It was okay, but not quite “Dublin” enough.
- Attempt 2: Skinny jeans, a chunky sweater, and ankle boots. Getting closer! I added a scarf for some extra texture.
- Attempt 3: Dark jeans, a simple t-shirt with a oversized coat, and some chunky boots. Love it.
Taking Photos
Once I had a few outfits I was pretty happy with, I did a little photoshoot. I just used my phone, nothing fancy. A good, clear mirror helps a lot! I tried different poses, different angles, just to see what looked best.
My Final Thoughts
It’s definitely a fun process! I feel like I’m getting the handle on Dublin street style, I might not be perfect yet, but practice will make me improved, and I’ll keep experimenting and sharing what I find!
