Okay, so I saw this “Donald Trump Dress to Impress” thing and thought, “This is gonna be interesting.” I figured, why not give it a shot? It sounded like a fun, goofy little project.
First, I brainstormed. What does “Dress to Impress” even mean in a Trump context? I decided to focus on the most iconic elements – the suit, the tie, the hair (of course!), and maybe some overly-tanned skin.
The Process
- Finding a Base: I needed a plain suit to start. No fancy patterns, just a basic, dark-colored suit.
- The Tie: This was key. I looked for an extra-long, bright red tie. The kind that practically screams “look at me!”. I had to get a good one.
- Hair Time: Oh boy, the hair. I’m no stylist, let me tell you. I watched a few videos online, trying to figure out the… uh… technique. Lots of teasing and hairspray, I figured that much out. I used a comb and try to tease my hair.
- The Tan: I’m naturally pretty pale, I needed some help. Fake tan is very necessary.
- Putting it all together:Suit on, super-long tie tied (but not too tight!), hair… attempted… and the bronzer generously applied. I felt ridiculous, but in a good way.
I practiced my best “you’re fired” impression in the mirror. My wife thinks I’m insane, but she’s used to my weird projects by now.
Finally,I think I did it. I transformed myself into a… well, a version of Donald Trump. Not perfect, by any means, but definitely recognizable. And that, I think, is the point. It’s about capturing the essence, the over-the-top style. A bit of a caricature, really.
