So, I started digging into this whole thing, right? First off, I had to figure out who this Ditte Reffstrup actually is. Turns out, she’s the creative director of this fashion brand called Ganni. And get this, she runs it with her husband, Nicolaj. Talk about a power couple!
I started looking into how they took over Ganni. It was some old cashmere company back in 2009. She handles all the creative stuff, and he’s the CEO. I guess it worked out pretty well, because now they’re all over the place.
Here’s what I did to get all this info:
- First, I did some basic searches to understand who she is and what Ganni is all about.
- Then, I looked for some interviews with her. I mean, who better to explain the brand than the person behind it, right?
- I also read up on Ganni’s history. Found out that it started as a cashmere brand. It’s amazing how much it changed!
I was reading an interview, and Ditte was talking about her first UK shop. It’s funny, it was just a pop-up for six months. I guess it did well, or maybe they just wanted to test the waters. Who knows?
Another thing I found interesting, which is totally off-topic but whatever, is that people don’t really bother making fake bags of certain brands. It’s like, why bother when you can get a real one for cheap? Made me laugh a bit.
