Cowboy Attire for Women: Get the Western Look Today.

Cowboy Attire for Women: Get the Western Look Today.

Okay, so I’ve been seeing this whole “cowboy” aesthetic popping up everywhere, and I gotta say, I’m kinda into it. But it’s always, like, super costumey, you know? I wanted to try and put together some looks that felt more everyday, more… me. So, I went on a little mission to create some cowboy attire for women that’s wearable, not just for Halloween or a themed party.

First, I raided my closet. I mean, you gotta start with what you have, right? I pulled out all my denim – jeans, skirts, jackets, everything. Denim is, like, the foundation of this whole thing.

Next, I focused on key pieces. I figured a good pair of boots is essential. I didn’t want anything too over-the-top with crazy stitching, just a simple, classic brown leather pair. Something I could wear with other outfits, too.

Then, I thought about shirts. I grabbed a couple of my favorite flowy, peasant-style blouses. I also pulled out a chambray shirt – it’s basically denim’s lighter cousin, and it totally works. And, of course, a couple of plain white tees. You can never go wrong with a white tee.

Putting It All Together

  • Look 1: The Casual Cowgirl

I paired my dark-wash skinny jeans with the brown boots and a white tee. I threw on a denim jacket and tied a bandana around my neck. Super simple, but it definitely has that vibe, right?

  • Look 2: The Boho Cowgirl

For this one, I wore a denim skirt with the peasant blouse (tucked in, of course). I added the boots and a wide, leather belt. I also found a cute little turquoise necklace to add a pop of color. I felt so cute in this one!

  • Look 3: Denim on Denim

I wasn’t gonna chicken out to try denim on denim. I wore my chambray shirt with the brown boots and a wide, dark-wash jeans. I also added a wide, leather belt.

Honestly, the whole process was way easier than I thought. It’s all about mixing and matching what you already have and adding a few key pieces. I’m no fashion expert, but I think I nailed it! At least, I feel good, and that’s what really matters. I’m planning on rocking these looks all season long!
