Alright, alright, lemme tell ya ’bout this “Cardi B Pussy” thing. Heard folks chatterin’ ’bout it, seen it on that there internet thingy my grandkids always yappin’ about.
So, this Cardi B gal, she’s a rapper, ya know? Sings songs, dances around. And she got this song, called “WAP.” Now, what’s that mean? Well, hold your horses, ’cause it ain’t for polite company. It stands for “Wet Ass Pussy.” Yep, you heard that right. Wet. Ass. Pussy. Lord have mercy.
Now, this song, it got folks all riled up. Some folks, they love it. They say it’s all about women bein’ free, talkin’ ’bout what they want. You know, bein’ all independent and whatnot. They say it’s catchy, makes ya wanna shake your booty. And these girls, Cardi B and that other one, Megan somethin’, they sure do shake theirs.

- Lots of people talkin’ ’bout it, that’s for sure.
But then, there’s other folks, they ain’t so happy. They say it’s too dirty, too nasty. They say it ain’t fittin’ for young folks to hear. They say it’s disrespectful, talkin’ ’bout private parts like that. One fella, Shapiro his name was, he was real upset. Said it was bad for society, or somethin’ like that. I tell ya, folks get worked up over the silliest things sometimes.
This here song, “WAP,” it’s all about, well, you know… down there. It ain’t subtle, that’s for sure. These girls, they singin’ ’bout gettin’ it on, bein’ all wet and whatnot. Makes some folks blush, I reckon. But these young folks today, they don’t seem to mind much. They listen to it, dance to it, sing along even. Heard it blarin’ outta cars drivin’ by. Loud as a rooster crowin’ at dawn.
This Cardi B, she ain’t shy, that’s for sure. Seen a picture of her on that internet thingy, naked as a jaybird. Rantin’ and ravin’ ’bout somethin’. Folks were sharin’ it all over the place. Guess that’s what they call “goin’ viral.” Sounds like a disease to me, but what do I know? I’m just an old woman.
So, this “Cardi B Pussy” thing, it’s a whole lotta fuss about a song, really. Some folks like it, some folks don’t. But everybody’s talkin’ ’bout it, that’s for sure. And that Cardi B, she’s laughing all the way to the bank, I betcha. She got folks all stirred up, and that’s what sells these days, seems like. Sex and controversy, that’s the name of the game. Always has been, I guess. Just like back in my day, just different tunes and different words.
Heard they even give out awards for this kinda thing. “Diamond” somethin’ or other. Means lots of folks listened to it, I reckon. Shows ya what the world’s comin’ to, huh? But hey, to each their own, I always say. If they wanna sing about “Wet Ass Pussy,” well, that’s their business. Just don’t play it too loud when the grandkids are around, that’s all I ask.
And that’s the long and short of it, best as I can tell. This “Cardi B Pussy” thing, it’s just a song, a dirty song some folks say, a powerful song others say. But it sure got people talkin’. And that, I reckon, is the whole point.
