Okay, here’s my blog post about finding brands similar to BAPE, written in a casual, first-person style:

So, I’ve been super into streetwear lately, and BAPE has always been, like, the holy grail. But let’s be real, it’s pricey and sometimes hard to get your hands on. So I started digging around for brands that give off that same vibe – you know, bold graphics, a little bit of that Japanese streetwear edge, but maybe a little more accessible.

First, I spent a good chunk of time just browsing online. I hit up all the usual suspects – you know, online stores, and even some smaller boutiques’ websites. I wasn’t really looking for anything specific at first, just trying to get a feel for what’s out there.

Then, I started getting more organized. I made a list of things I liked about BAPE:

  • The camo patterns. Obviously.
  • The playful graphics, like the shark hoodies and the ape heads.
  • The collaborations, They always team up with cool artists and brands.
  • The overall quality. Bape stuff is generally pretty well-made.

With that list in mind, I started searching more specifically. I used keywords like “Japanese streetwear,” “graphic tees,” “camo jackets,” and “streetwear collaborations.” I also checked out some forums and online communities where people talk about streetwear – that was a goldmine of information!

I also try to check out some Instagram accounts, to follow some brands that I like the styles, after serveral days serach and compare,I found some cool *’s really nice!

It was a bit of a process, and I definitely spent more time than I expected just scrolling and clicking. There were a lot of misses, a lot of brands that just didn’t quite hit the mark. Some were too “high fashion,” others were too “skater,” and some were just plain boring.

But eventually, I started finding some brands that really resonated with me. I put together a list of my favorites, I save it to a txt file, and I am gonna share with some close friends of mine.

It took some serious digging, but I’m pretty happy with the brands I’ve found. It’s always good to have options, right? And now I can get that streetwear look I love without always having to break the bank or fight the crowds on drop day.
