Okay, so I’ve been wanting to try out Amass Restaurant in Denmark for ages. Everyone talks about how amazing and sustainable it is, so I finally decided to go for it. Here’s how it all went down.
Booking a Table
First things first, I needed to get a reservation. I went on their website – it was pretty straightforward. I picked a date and time, and boom, I got a confirmation email. It wasn’t super hard, but I did book a few weeks in advance ’cause I heard it can get busy.
Getting There
I decided to take public transport since it’s supposed to be good in Copenhagen. I looked it all up, It was surprisingly easy! Got off the bus, walked a little bit, and there it was. I was actually a little early, so I just chilled outside and admired the view.
The Atmosphere
When I walked in, I was immediately struck by the vibe. It’s kind of industrial but still cozy, you know? Lots of concrete and big windows, but with plants and warm lighting. It felt fancy but not, like, stuffy or pretentious. Very cool, very relaxed. I felt right at home, even though I was alone.I settled in, and start looking around and took it all in.
The Food
Now, the important part – the food! I went with the tasting menu, because, why not? It’s all about seasonal ingredients, so I was ready for whatever they threw at me. And let me tell you, it was a ride.

I left Amass feeling full, happy, and honestly, kind of inspired. It wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience. It showed me how creative and delicious sustainable cooking can be. It’s not the cheapest place, for sure, but for a special occasion, it’s totally worth it. If you’re ever in Copenhagen, I highly recommend checking it out. Just be prepared to be amazed.
