Okay, so I saw this “Barbie Trend Fashion” thing popping up all over my socials, and you know I had to jump in and see what it was all about. I’m no fashion expert, but pink and sparkly? I can definitely work with that!
My Barbie Transformation
First, I raided my closet. I mean, really dug through it. I was looking for anything pink, obviously, but also anything with a bit of a retro vibe, you know, something that felt kinda ’80s or ’90s, like Barbie’s classic style.
- I found a bright pink oversized sweater that I totally forgot I owned. Score!
- Then, I unearthed some old denim shorts that were practically begging for a comeback.
- And for shoes, my trusty white sneakers. Simple, but they work.
Next up, accessories! This is where I could really play around. I don’t have a ton of jewelry, to I want get a super cute heart-shaped pendant. It’s totally Barbie, right?
Then I was search some hair style, and want get a high ponytail! It’s classic, it’s fun, and it shows off the necklace. Boom!
Finally, makeup. I kept it pretty simple: a little bit of pink eyeshadow, some mascara, and of course, bright pink lipstick. I even tried to do that winged eyeliner thing, but, uh, let’s just say it’s a work in progress. It’s surprisingly hard!
After all that, I looked in the mirror. It was giving some Barbie, very close! And I shared photos to all my friend, and let them rate, They said I looks nice, so funny. I also posted it on my Instagram with some fun, related hashtags, it can help other people can see me.
It was a fun little experiment, for sure. Maybe I’ll try another trend next week!
