Okay, so I saw this article about the “world’s most expensive lipstick” and I just had to dig deeper. I mean, who spends that much on a lipstick? I’m usually a drugstore makeup kind of girl, so this was a whole new world for me.
First, I googled it. You know, just typed in “world’s most expensive lipstick” and BAM! A bunch of articles popped up. I started clicking around, reading about these crazy expensive lipsticks.
The Research Phase
- I scrolled through a ton of websites. Some were just blog posts, others were actual online stores selling this stuff.
- I read about the different brands and what made them so pricey. Was it diamonds? Gold? Unicorn tears? I needed answers!
- I started a list, it had the expensive lipstick’s brand name, and price.
After I had a good grasp on the “what,” I moved on to the “why.” I watched some YouTube videos of beauty bloggers trying these lipsticks. Were they worth it? Did they magically make you look ten years younger? Did they taste like chocolate cake? (Okay, maybe I was getting carried away.)
The “Could I Actually Buy This?” Phase
I checked out the return policy.
Just in case.
I compared prices across different * know, just to get the best price of course!
Then, I closed all the tabs. and finally gave up on buying it.
