So, you’ve probably heard the chatter about this Paris Hilton Rainbow High doll.
Yeah, me too. It felt like it popped up everywhere online, and you know how these things go. One minute it’s just another doll, the next, everyone’s gotta have it. My niece is big into Rainbow High, has a whole shelf of them, so naturally, her ears perked right up when “Paris Hilton” got thrown into the mix. So, I figured, alright, let’s see what this is all about. My mission, should I choose to accept it, was to track one down, or at least get a good look at it.

Finding one wasn’t exactly a walk in the park initially. Some of these special editions, they just vanish. But eventually, I managed to see one up close. First thing you notice, it’s definitely got that Rainbow High look, but with a bit of extra… well, Paris, I guess. The glitz, you know?
Getting it out and taking a proper look.
So, holding the thing, it’s about 11 inches tall, which is pretty much standard for these dolls. They always feel pretty solid, these Rainbow High ones. I’ve seen the regular ones take a beating from younger kids, and they seem to hold up. The box on this Paris one kept going on about how well-made it is, and yeah, it seems durable. I reckon it’ll provide hours and hours of fun, no doubt, especially for a collector or a big fan.
And the accessories! Man, they always load these dolls up. This one was no different.
- Lots of little fashion pieces.
- Tiny shoes, tiny bags, the whole nine yards.
- Kids can style them in a bunch of different ways, which is half the fun, right? Keeps them busy.
I remember when Rainbow High dolls first started appearing, must have been mid-2020. Suddenly, they were on every hot-toy list. I saw them highlighted by Toys “R” Us Canada and The Toy Insider. They just exploded. I heard some report, I think it was The NPD Group, saying that by August 2020, Rainbow High was already the No. 3 best-selling fashion doll line in the U.S. That’s pretty fast!
But what about this Paris Hilton one specifically?
Compared to, say, the Series 1 dolls – you know, Ruby Anderson, Poppy Rowan, Sunny Madison, Jade Hunter, Skyler Bradshaw, and Violet Willow – this one definitely feels more like a ‘collector’ item. Or like that Rainbow High Priscilla Pink Fashion Doll, which they also say is great for kids aged 4-12 and collectors. This Paris one leans heavily into that collector vibe, I think. It’s got her signature look, or what they’re aiming for, anyway.

Is it worth the extra fuss, maybe the extra cash? Well, that’s the million-dollar question, isn’t it? If you’re a huge Paris Hilton fan, or a die-hard Rainbow High collector trying to get every single one, then yeah, probably. It’s a specific piece. For a kid who just wants a Rainbow High doll to play with, one of the regular colorful ones might do the job just as well and be easier on the wallet.
Honestly, after checking it out, it’s a fancy doll. Looks good, lots of little bits to play with. Rainbow High definitely knows how to make an appealing product. This Paris Hilton version is just another example of them tapping into that collector market and a big name. It is what it is, another shiny thing for the shelf or the toybox. It does look pretty cool, I’ll give it that. The packaging was pretty slick too. They definitely put thought into the presentation for this one.
