Okay, so I got this idea to map out the Trump family tree the other day. Just kinda popped into my head, thought it might be interesting to see how it all connects.
First thing I did was just hop online. Started with the obvious, searched for Donald Trump’s parents. Found Fred Trump and Mary Anne MacLeod Trump pretty easily. Wrote those names down at the top of my page.
Then, I looked for their kids. Found out about Donald’s siblings – Maryanne, Fred Jr. (who passed away), Elizabeth, and Robert (who also passed). Added them branching down from the parents.
Getting into the main branch
Next, I focused on Donald’s line. This part got a bit more spread out. Had to look up his marriages.
- First wife, Ivana. Found their kids: Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. Listed them under that marriage.
- Second wife, Marla Maples. Found their daughter, Tiffany. Added her.
- Third wife, Melania. And their son, Barron. Put him down too.
Checking the details…
I spent some time double-checking names and connections. You know how info online can be sometimes. I tried sticking to sources that seemed reliable, like major news archives or biography sites, rather than random blogs. Didn’t want to get sidetracked by gossip, just wanted the basic structure.
Then I thought about the grandkids. Donald Jr. has five kids. Ivanka has three. Eric has two. That adds another layer pretty quickly. Started listing them under their respective parents. Didn’t dig super deep into the grandkids’ details, just wanted to note their existence in the structure.
Putting it all together
I didn’t use any fancy software. Just sketched it out first on a piece of paper to visualize the connections. Then I typed it up neatly in a simple text document, using indentation to show the different generations and family branches. Made it look like a basic outline.
It was a straightforward process, really. Just took a bit of searching and organizing. Started with the roots, Fred and Mary Anne, and branched out generation by generation. Kept it focused on the direct lineage mostly. It’s quite a large family once you start laying it all out.
So yeah, that’s how I put together my little map of the Trump family. Just a bit of online digging and organizing the names. Satisfied my curiosity for now.
