OK, I understand. Here’s my attempt at a blog post reflecting a “2012 fashion men” project, written in the requested style:

Alright folks, lemme tell ya ’bout this thing I messed around with back in 2012. “2012 fashion men,” yeah, real original title, I know. But hey, it was what it was. Basically, I was tryin’ to figure out what dudes were wearin’ back then. You know, for uh… reasons. I was young, give me a break.
So, first thing I did was hit up Google Images, right? Just started pumpin’ in keywords like “men’s fashion 2012,” “street style men,” “runway looks 2012,” the whole shebang. Downloaded a ton of pics. Like, way too many. My hard drive was cryin’.
Next, I started sortin’ through that mountain of JPEGs. That took ages. I was tryin’ to see if there were any trends. You know, like, were skinny jeans still a thing? Was everyone wearin’ those weird scarves? Did vests ever go away? Serious investigative work, I tell ya.
- Color Palettes: I noticed a lot of blues, grays, and browns. Real sophisticated kinda stuff. Not much bright neon, thank god.
- Key Items: Definitely saw a ton of blazers. Like, every other guy was rockin’ a blazer. And boots! Boots were everywhere. Not cowboy boots, mind you. More like… dressy boots?
- Silhouettes: Skinny jeans were still hangin’ around, but I also saw some more relaxed fits startin’ to creep in. Maybe a sign of things to come?
Then, ’cause I’m a bit of a nerd, I threw all this data into a spreadsheet. Yeah, I know. But I wanted to see if I could quantify this stuff somehow. Like, how many guys were wearin’ hats vs. no hats? How many had beards? Stuff like that. Totally pointless, but fun for me.
After that, I tried to put together some “outfit formulas,” as I called them. Like, “skinny jeans + blazer + boots = acceptable 2012 male fashion.” Or, “chinos + button-down shirt + sweater = safe bet.” Real groundbreaking stuff, right?

The whole thing was kinda dumb, honestly. But it was a good way to kill time and learn a little bit about image analysis, I guess. Plus, it gave me some ideas for my own wardrobe, which was sorely needed. I was still wearin’ stuff from college at that point. Cringe.
So, yeah, that was my “2012 fashion men” project. Not exactly earth-shattering, but hey, you gotta start somewhere, right?
