Okay, so I wanted to dive into men’s fashion from 2005. It’s a fun little throwback, right? First, I started by digging through my old magazines. I knew I kept them for a reason!

My Research Process
- Gathered old issues of, like, GQ and Esquire (if you can find them, that is!).
- Scoured the internet. I mean, I just googled “men’s fashion 2005” and went down a rabbit hole of old blog posts and forum threads. It was kind of a mess, honestly.
- Checked out some old photos of celebrities and musicians from that time. Think along the lines of what the popular guys were wearing back then.
Then I began to put together some outfits, inspired by what I found.
Recreating the Looks
- I tried to find similar pieces in my own closet. Surprisingly, I had a few things that kind of worked!
- I hit up some thrift stores. This was actually pretty successful. Found some great vintage pieces that fit the 2005 vibe.
- I experimented with layering. Lots of layering. That seemed to be a big thing back then.
Finally, I took some photos of the outfits I put together. It was a fun to see how it all came together.
It’s always a blast to revisit the past. It is like taking a little trip back in time!
