Okay, so I’ve been seeing those super sleek Armani fashion show videos all over my feed, and I just had to try and recreate the vibe myself. I mean, who wouldn’t want to feel like they’re strutting down a Milan runway, even if it’s just in their living room?

Getting Started
First things first, I needed an outfit. I didn’t have any actual Armani, obviously, but I dug through my closet and found a black blazer that looked somewhat presentable, paired it with some dark pants, and hoped for the best. It wasn’t exactly high fashion, but hey, we’re working with what we’ve got here.
Setting the Stage(aka My Living Room)
Next up, the “runway.” My living room isn’t exactly spacious, and the lighting is, well, let’s just say it’s more “cozy apartment” than “fashion show spotlight.” I moved some furniture around to clear a path, strategically placed a couple of lamps to try to minimize the shadows, and that’s it.
Action!

The Walk:
I watched a bunch of actual Armani show videos to try and mimic the models’ walk. I had to feel that confident, slow walk, serious face, and try to be cool.
-
The Music:
I found the show’s soundtrack, because, without the booming music, is it even a fashion show at all?
-
The Recording:
I set up my phone on a stack of books and hit record. It took a lot of takes. I felt so silly and uncomfortable.
Final Touches
After I finally got a take I didn’t totally hate, I did some very basic video editing on my phone, I just wanted to be better, you know.
The result? Well, it’s definitely not going to get me a modeling contract, but it was a fun, ridiculous experiment. And, honestly, I kind of felt like a superstar for a few minutes there, even if my “runway” was just my cluttered living room. It was a blast, and who knows, maybe I’ll try another designer next time!
