Okay, so today I messed around with “Chloe 2002”. It’s kinda old, but I was curious.
First, I got my hands on a copy. That took a bit of digging, to be honest. Found it on some random old forum after, like, an hour of searching. You know how it is with these older things, right?
Getting It To Run
Then came the real fun – getting it to actually run. My modern machine wasn’t exactly thrilled. So, I fired up a virtual machine. I went with Windows XP because, why not, it feels right for something from 2002.
Installed the virtual machine, got the ISO loaded, no problems there, I have done this so many times that I could do it sleepwalking.
Installing The main part.
- Mounted the “Chloe 2002” image.
- Clicked through the installer. Pretty standard stuff, nothing fancy.
- Rebooted the virtual machine, just in case. Old software, you know? Gotta be careful.
And… it worked! I mean, it launched. I played around with it for a bit. It’s definitely a product of its time. The graphics, the interface, everything screams “early 2000s.”
I even messed with some setting, seeing if I could get better resolution, didn’t get any good results, the best I could do was what it gave me at the start, but hey, at least I made it run.
So yeah, that was my little adventure today. Kinda nostalgic, kinda frustrating, but ultimately, a fun little trip down memory lane. It is always fun to revisit the past. I might tinker with it more later, see if I can find any hidden stuff.
