Okay, so I wanted to dive into the 2009 fashion trends. First, I started by looking at some old magazines and online articles from that year. It was like taking a trip back in time!
Digging Through the Archives
I spent a good few hours just browsing through everything. I made a list of the things that kept popping up:
- Shoulder pads
- Boyfriend blazers
- Ripped jeans
- Floral dresses
- Statement necklaces
- Gladiator sandals
I remembered some of these trends!
Putting it All Together
Then, I tried to recreate some of the looks with clothes I already had.I don’t think I’ll be rocking the shoulder pads anytime soon, It’s just my personal perference.
Finally, I took some photos and compared them to the pictures from 2009. It was so much fun!It was a blast experimenting and seeing how those styles have changed over the years.
